Raimonds Tomsons loves to enjoy fine cuisine paired with wine. When he was young he loved football and admires Cristiano Ronaldo. If he could go back in time he would go clubbing with Maradona. 1. What do you love and what do you “hate” in your profession?
For me eating fine cuisine and enjoying great wines is the purest pleasure & delight but it is very difficult to keep myself in a good physical form, which I hate 😊

2. Who is your favourite athlete and why?
Cristiano Ronaldo – a great technical player and an artist on the field. He is 39 years old and now playing in Euro 2024, how cool is that!
3. Dirty (Street food) or high gastronomy?
High gastronomy in the end of the day.
4. If you were a variety, which would you be and why?
Most likely Chardonnay – I know, a bit boring but the reason for that is my openminded character and capability to deal with the most diverse characters, so, like Chardonnay, which can suit different terroirs and winemakers.
5. What scares you?
The current geopolitical situation in the world – I am scared about the future of my family and children, not myself.
6. Jazz or the clarinet?
I played clarinet for 5 years, so the answer is obvious 😊

7. What did you want to be (as a kid) when you were little?
Always sports, football.
8. Which personality would you like to go clubbing with?
In the company of Maradona could be fun.

Definitely Fly

Early morning, when children are still sleeping and it is quiet

My ex-chef with whom I have been working together for 21 years taught me work ethics and respect and how to be very goal orientated & ambitious

A respectable example of a sommelier for all the young people entering this wonderful profession.

As a father of four I am more convinced that my children and family is the meaning of life!
